Dog Years 2

We've featured the Dog Years series of Super 8 shorts before, and we were pleased to get an e-mail last week telling us that Dog Years 2 is now up on the Atom Films site.

Continuing the story of Ben the castrated mongrel - he now fills us in on his health, his well being and some problematic glands. Shot entirely on Ektachrome 64T with a Canon Auto Zoom 814 the film once again features Ben's beautiful dulcet tones with memorable views on life such as the killer opening line, "Can I just say for the record, nothing in life prepares you for a finger in your rectum, most undignified".

Both Dog Years films are stylishly simplistic whilst still remaining elegant and are an absolute credit to the team of Richard Penfold and Sam Hearn. The good news is that the third instalment "Faith" is well underway and the first 2 episodes are now available to buy on DVD.
