Cover girl Dagie!

Because we did really badly at languages at school we miss out on a whole load of small film news from our European cousins.
With this in mind, we spotted that Dagie Brundert, the prolific Super 8mm filmmaker from Berlin is the cover girl on the latest issue of schmalfilm, the original German version of what we know as smallformat.
We love Dagie's very personal shorts and have seen lots of her films over the years at various festivals, as well as online. To find out more about her unique approach to filmmaking and to watch many of her shorts go to http://www.dagiebrundert.de/
For the German speakers amongst you, the latest issue of schmalfilm also contains;
- Juergen Lossau discuss the current market conditions for motion picture film
- Schmalfilm were there when the legendary Agfa building was literally blown up
- Here comes a new Single-8 camera? And the new projector is here now - 8mm news from Japan!
- A 14 year old designs a E6 processing machine!
