10th Dresdner Schmalfilmtage

It's that time again when the good folk of Dresden call for Super 8 (and 16mm) work from across the world. Only films originated on small film and only under 8 minutes are the basic rules and entries must be submitted by 3rd January 2009.
Successful entries will be screened at the 10th Dresdner Schmalfilmtage which will be staged at the Motorenhalle in the City from the 22nd to 24th January 2009 with a packed programme including the competition screenings and guests from the world of small film. Among them Austrian artist Lisl Ponger alongside Lutz Mommartz, Ute Aurand and Hamburg animators Hanna Nordholt and Fritz Steingrobe. A selection of work by the German trash film ikon Joachim Stolze will also be shown over the three days of screenings.
