Tony Breakspear and Antonio Rasura, technical managers at Kodak's UK motion picture division will be holding a two-hour seminar at London's no.w.here lab on the 29th April from 10:30am until 2pm.

This seminar is an excellent opportunity for to learn about film and the creative opportunities available for artists using film. The seminar content will be led by attendees needs and organisers are urging all to feel free to ask about any of the following or to bring their own questions:

Potential questions to ask:

How is film created?
How do I add and subtract colour processes (such as colour negative and E6)?
How do I read Kodak data sheets?
What are the best processing times for hand processing?
What range of stocks is currently available to me?
How do I shoot at night?
What are the differences between colour and black and white film?
How do I treat print stock and specialist films?
How do I work with negative films and internegatives?
How do I work with optical sound?
How are images being formed on film?
How do I enhance and minimise grain (pushing and pulling film in
processing?)
Where can I make digital transfers, telecine, and find useful technical
information such as contacts for processing, sound, and printing?

This seminar is suitable for beginners as well as experienced makers and simple questions are as important as something specific. Places are limited to 30 people. Places are offered on a first come, first serve basis.
